A Message from the Principal

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year at Holy Spirit Catholic School. The staff and I are truly excited about the new year and are positive it will be a most successful year for everyone. ALL students at HSCS are special and will be treated as such. By the same token, all students must do their part in seeking to become successful learners.

We feel that open and clear communication between school and home is important to the success of any learner's educational program. We encourage all parents to take an active role in the education of their children. At HSCS we believe it takes a team effort to successfully educate a child. Parent involvement is vital. We welcome your participation and support during the school year and strongly solicit your membership in the Home & School Association. Working together we will be able to celebrate the highest achievements possible for each individual child at HSCS.

Uniform Exchange
HSCS has had a great response to their Uniform Exchange Program. We currently have a lot of nice, gently used uniforms in a variety of sizes. Each article of clothing is available for a $1.00 donation. If you are in need of uniforms or if you have gently used uniforms to donate, please contact the school office at 362-6077.

Safe Environment Training
Our Bishop along with the U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops has mandated that all Catholic Schools and Parishes hold training for all volunteers who work with children. All school volunteers, parents and grandparents who will be working with students in any capacity must complete this training. Please contact the Parish Office at 362-2611 for more information regarding Safe Environment Training.
